Cameron Highlands..

I've been missing from my blog ever since the last post, mostly due to the fact that I don't have a stable internet connection in Penang. It was very frustrating to keep getting disconnected and having the speed of a snail. Thanks to that though, I had a computer-free Chinese New Year and spent my time with my family instead. Now that I'm back, my eyes are glued to my PC once again.

I went to Cameron Highlands last Sunday with my godbro and his friends. It has been more than 5 years since I've last went there. I remembered that I had carsick on the way up last time as the road was very windy, so I bought some sour stuff to ease my suffering. Thankfully, the entire journey up was pleasant enough as I was free from carsickness.

We stopped by Lata Kinjang on the way up. It was really a sight for sore eyes, especially if you have been staying in a city for so long without much nature in sight. The waterfall can be seen from the North-South Highway, but not many people have visited the place as it is not straightforward. I took some pictures and a video clip using the new Nokia 5800 XpressMusic and it was really nice.

After that, we went to Restoran Yau Kee in Kampar for our lunch. My friend said that it was famous for their Curry Chicken Bread. The curry was really thick and spicy, and the bread was fresh as well. We ordered some other dishes as well, some pork, vege and squid. Those extras were not that nice though. It would be better if they improved on all their dishes instead of just focusing on one.

We continued our way up to Cameron Highlands after filling our stomachs. We stayed in Country Lodge Resort in Brinchang. We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment and I shared a room with my godbro. The place was quite decent and comfortable to sleep in. I got a scare before we went into our rooms though.

It is a custom for some people to knock on hotel room doors before going in, as it is a way to inform anything that lives in there, such as ghosts, that we're going to be staying in for a couple of days. This way, we won't accidentally disturb them so they won't disturb us either.

As I was standing in front, I knocked on the door before opening it. Much to my horror, after I knocked on the door, I heard someone knocking on the door as if it were replying me. I stood there shocked for a moment before turning back to ask if anyone heard that. But as soon as I turn back, I saw my godbro's hand on the door and realized it was him that knocked on the door. Silly me. =.=

Robb always told me that ghosts do not exist, and he will not believe it until he sees it with his own eyes. I rather believe in them rather than having to see it just to believe it. So, ghosts, wherever you are, do not appear in front of me ok?

After unpacking, all of us had a short nap as we were exhausted from having to sit in the car for so long. There is a bathroom in every single room, so it was quite convenient for us. The bathroom was acceptable as it was clean. As for the shower, the water wasn't hot enough for me and it takes some time for it to heat up. The girls in the other room had no problems with that though as they said that their water was very warm.

Feeling refreshed, we went out for a stroll around the area. We could see the pasar malam stalls being set up but there weren't much stalls yet as it was still quite early. We stopped by a temple and the girls went down to pray while me and my godbro camwhored around. I can't read Chinese so I do not know what's the name of the temple.

As the sky was getting dark, we headed back to our rooms for awhile before going for our steamboat dinner at the resort's restaurant. The whole place was practically empty except for our table and it felt like we booked the entire restaurant. We had tomyam and chicken soup as there were small children around and they couldn't take spicy food. If it weren't for the cold weather, the steamboat wouldn't taste nice at all. The soup tasted like those tomyam pastes that you can buy from the supermarket. The vegetables were the only nice ones as they were very fresh. Made me miss the steamboat restaurant near my place. Even my godbro agreed.

After dinner, we walked out to the pasar malam as it was quite near. There were lots of fresh fruits and vegetables sold there. The main attraction were the strawberries. Almost every single stall there sells the same things. The competition must be hard. Even so, my godbro said that there were less stalls compared to the previous year when he came. I didn't buy anything but my godbro bought 2 boxes of strawberries.

We then walked to the town area to get some drinks as there was nothing much to see already. There were so many steamboat restaurants all around town. It was like the only food sold in Cameron Highlands were from steamboat restaurants. Not much of a variety can be seen here. Bought some Heineken and junk food from a grocery store and headed back to the room as there was nothing much to do.

I was reluctant to bathe when we went back as it was very cold and the water wasn't warm enough for me but still I had to. Sigh. Felt tired after my bath, so I rested awhile while waiting for my godbro to clean himself up as well. After that, we had a good talk between the two of us while drinking Heineken and eating strawberries. It was really relaxing and I enjoyed it alot. We both slept after that as we were quite tired and had nothing else to do. It was nice to sleep when it is cold and tucked underneath the comforter.

To be continued..

5 Hours..

I'm gonna face that lousy Japanese paper, again, in 5 hours time. I've already read as much as I can, but not enough as there was no one to guide me. Sigh. I hate the feeling before exam. I may look calmed, but my head feels like it is going to explode. I can't sleep well, and woke up to feel as if my body and mind haven't slept at all. I don't wanna fail again. Stupid paper. むずかしいですね!

New Friend(s)..

Lately, I got to know a couple of friends through blogs, or more specifically, through Robb's blog. It is always nice to know new people, especially if they are good looking and not too "lansi". I have been chatting with them through MSN and Skype for the past few days.

One of them is Shiuji. He's an average looking Ipoh boy who is currently working in Singapore. He understands Japanese which he learnt from watching dramas, and it is nice as I get to practice with him through MSN. He loves to cook and eat, just like me, but he is now trying to improve his own outlook by going on a diet and exercising. Well, I wish him all the best and hope he doesn't do it the wrong way. Do it for yourself and not because other people says your not good enough ok? :)

Another guy I got to know is David. He's from Vancouver, few years younger than me, and quite cute if you ask me. I have been on cam chat with him through Skype for the past few days. He likes to listen to us Malaysians speak in English, as he felt that it is special. Like when I said words such as "already", he'll smile and said that it sounds cute. On the other hand, I like the way he speaks. It's not the typical English you hear around Malaysia or Singapore.

It is nice to have someone to speak to instead of just typing and chatting online. It has been awhile since I've actually spoken to someone new. Although we don't have much in common, we still have things to talk about once awhile. David would be asking me to study when we are chatting, as my exam is next week, or four more days to be exact. I won't feel so bored this way as in a sense, I'm not studying alone.

I was chatting with him just now as he fell asleep on his bed. He looked so innocent. LoL. Since I had nothing to do and his webcam is still on, I took a picture of him sleeping, although it's not that clear. He had his picture taken this morning as well by one of his friends as he was sleeping in class. Poor David. :P

He gave me a link on YouTube before he slept, which I thought was a very cute video clip. What do you think?

Just Another Day..

Woke up early today to have breakfast with Robb at the market downstairs. It has been awhile since we had the Curry Mee there. Although it is one of the nicest that I've tried in KL, I still miss the one in Penang. Oh well, I will be going back to Penang soon for Chinese New Year. Robb had to leave after he finished his food as he was already late for work. Since I had the time, I thought why not buy some food back to cook dinner for my dearest.

I'm not a very good cook, as I only know a few simple dishes. Been cooking the same dishes over and over again. Boring huh? I'm trying to cook a soup that we never had before tonight. Hopefully Robb likes the Lotus Root Soup. We never had fish before too, as I don't eat seafood and it is quite troublesome to cook it. Lots of people said that I am stupid for not liking seafood, especially since I am from Penang where there are lots of fresh and tasty seafood.

Last night during dinner with Robb at the hawker stalls below our house, I noticed something funny on the table. They had those table menu for their drinks on it and I noticed some of their spelling as well as grammar mistakes. Sorry for any in conveince? I wonder what that means. LoL. Robb said it is mostly done by TAR College students, as most of them are bad in English. Even though all our subjects are done in English, they usually speak in Mandarin or Cantonese among each other. We can hardly find any English speaking friends around our area. Sigh.

I will be bringing Zuzu back to Penang with me this Chinese New Year. Hopefully he likes it there. I plan to bring him out for walks around the park, give him a ride on my motorbike, and show him off to my small cousins. They would definitely love him. Hence, I brought Zuzu to have a haircut last week. He looks so much neater now than before as his hair was long and messy. I will be going back on the 24th with my uncle, and won't be able to come online that often unless I go to the cyber cafe as I can't be taking my whole PC back home. One thing for sure, I will definitely miss Robb.

Dear, you will miss us too right? :)

Bubbles..

Looking through my secondary school friend's blogs, as well as other friends' blogs, I feel jealous. Jealous that everyone is moving forward with their lives, getting a good degree, landing on a good job, traveling to places and etc. As for me, I'm a nobody, and has nothing to be proud of.

I was considered one of the goody-two-shoes boy who was smart and clever during my younger days. My parents had always had high hopes of me as my grades were considered above average and were better than all my other cousins. I scored in exams without much hard work, didn't give any troubles to my parents, and was enjoying life and taking it easy.

Everything changed since Form 3 started. I started to feel depressed, to feel lonely. Mood swings come and go, and I hardly smile since then. When I walk, my head would be looking down on the floor, just like my mood, instead of looking forward. I had friends, but somehow, my circle of friends keep changing each year. I never belonged anywhere, drifting from one group to another.

My results were still alright, just not as good as before. My parents were worried at a point that my mum came to ask me what was wrong, why do I look so sad all the time. I could not answer. I had mixed feelings, was confused, and cried myself to sleep most of the nights. I could even cry when I listened to sad songs on the radio when driving. Why? Partly due to the fact that I could not accept myself for having feelings towards guys and another part of it, I have no idea.

Few years later when I entered college, I started to feel better, as I told my dirty little secret to some of my friends, and they accepted me for who I am. I slowly learned to accept myself as well, and my emotions were not as shaky as before. More people knew later on, some of them were told by me, some of them guessed, and some of them couldn't keep their mouth shut and spread the news themselves. I've heard nasty things behind my back, but I chose to ignore it. I've learned to be invisible.

Even so, I've felt that I've never move a step forward from since the age of 15. I feel as if I'm stuck in a bubble, hiding inside it for it's protection. Everything I do, never seemed to go to the next level. Played tennis and was good at it at first, but stopped later on as somehow I seemed to be getting worse in it. Same thing goes for bowling, my average score was 150 to 180, even reached 225 once without any training. But after that everything seems to go down the drain as I can't even reach 100.

Being the lost boy I am, I didn't know what I want to be when I grow up. So my mum asked me to see the school counselor to seek for his advice on what to study when I entered college. Somehow, I ended up taking accounts. I did ok for the first few semesters as I was good in maths, but at the last few semesters, I just barely got through it.

Thinking I would do better in KL after finishing my diploma, I continued my advanced diploma. I thought I would have no problems living with other people as I was used to sleeping over at my friends' house during secondary school but I was so wrong. Things start to take a turn for the worst between me and my housemates/friends, lost interest in my studies, and did nothing but played all day long.

Again, I made my parents worry. I met Robb after that, and he managed to save me from drowning myself with depression again. I took up another course, and did quite well in it. The subjects were quite interesting but I had problems with the Japanese paper. Soon after, I was to do my internship in a travel agency. It was not what I had expected to be, as nothing was relevant to what I had studied at all. The job was boring and I had some problems in communication.

Now, months after my internship had finished, I'm still doing nothing at home, did not manage to get my Diploma in Tourism yet as I still had a Japanese paper to finish. I have no idea what to do, and wandered into the lost path as I did before. People would just ask me to get a part-time job for the mean time, or do something productive for a change. I wanted to, but I cannot overcome my subconscious mind which is keeping me in this bubble for so long. It's as if I had the power to break free from this fragile bubble, but my body feels too weak to do so.

People might just think that I'm giving excuses, being lazy and am useless. Maybe that is what I am. That's how I feel, useless. When will I grow up? When will I be free from myself? Until I do, I will always feel like the loser I am. I am a nobody.

Awkward Moment..

Most gay boys would dream of being approached by a guy, preferably tall, handsome and rich. It would be even more flattering if they were approached by a guy outside any of the areas which is labeled as a gay pickup point such as in a gay club. Why? Well, would you(gays) approach some other guy if you're not sure if he is gay or not, especially around housing areas? It would take some balls and guts to do so. Either that or you're a total slut. LoL.

Well I for one have not been approached by any guy in real life before. Not even in gay clubs. Although I'm attached to a wonderful guy, it is still quite nice to feel wanted by people whom you don't know once awhile. But most of the time it's just me, myself and I. That changed today, when I got approached by a guy in the lift at the flat that I'm staying.

It wasn't even close to any of my fantasies. It all started when I was waiting for the lift below and there were few other people there as well. One foreign guy was looking at me and he smiled to me. Out of courtesy, I smiled back as it was normal for me to return smiles. Once we stepped into the lift, he didn't stop looking at me and I felt very awkward but I just ignored him.

Soon after, everyone else had already reached their floors and went out, leaving me and the guy alone. My place is quite high up so there were few more floors to go before reaching my destination. The guy then approached me and introduced himself as Aknash, or something like that, and I shook his hand and introduced myself as Gary. LoL. He then said that he has a problem, asked me if I could help him and put his left hand in his pants at the crotch area! Zzz.

Lucky for me, the lift reached my floor and I went out quickly, saying I wasn't interested. I guess it was my fault for smiling to another guy in the first place. Sigh. This was not the type of person I had in my mind to be approaching me. After reaching home, a thought came to my mind. What if the guy was some good looking chinese with a nice body? Would I feel the same way or would I go for it? Would you?

Spongebob and Patrick..

Sorry dear, didn't take a picture together with you. But you know that my hair was terrible when we went out that night. In fact, it is always in a mess. Maybe I should straighten it again.

New Year's Eve Under The Sea..

On 31st December 2008, Spongebob and Patrick went out to celebrate New Year's Eve in Bukit Bintang. As Spongebob had lots of time, he went to buy tickets in GSC Pavilion for the movie Beverly Hills Chihuahua, 8.45 pm. After that, he went to read the book that he was following in Times Bookstore, while waiting for Patrick to arrive with his sister.

Soon after they arrived, the three of them went to eat at McDonald's before going to their movie. In the cinema, Spongebob met a person who he once considered a friend. They didn't speak to each other, but just smiled and waved as courtesy. The movie was entertaining and nice, but Spongebob felt that it was only worth watching once.

After the movie, they met up with Spongebob's friend who was waiting for them below and headed towards Bukit Bintang. It was already very crowded with people, couples here and there, groups of friends all over. As they got nearer to their destination, it became more dangerous as there were more people spraying those party foams, or whatever you call it.

Spongebob could not take much of it, as he was made of sponge. The toxic air could easily seep into his body and poison him, so they tried their best to avoid getting "attacked" so they pushed themselves into crowds. It was suffocating but they managed to push their way through and found a safe spot. Once they secured a spot, they waiting patiently for the countdown.

The atmosphere became noisier as the time for countdown draws nearer. As it was time, everyone started to countdown loudly, FIVE! FOUR! THREE! TWO! ONE! HAPPY NEW YEAR!! and started spraying those poisonous liquids again. After that, there was a display of fireworks and everyone looked at it with awe. Spongebob took a video of the fireworks display with his handphone as he wanted to share it with everyone else. After that, they went back to their pineapple home under the sea, all tired but enjoyed their simple evening out.

Confused..

It hurts..
Why am I feeling this way..
Waking up to this emotion..
I need a road of my own..
I need to get away..

This feeling comes and goes..
As does my mood swings..
Why am I always doing things..
That my brain tells..
But my heart never follows..

Dreams..

I don't know if it is coincidence or what but I just had a dream, few dreams actually, about important people in my life disappearing. In my first dream, I was out with Robb and Zuzu to some place which I can't really remember. It felt very nice to be spending time with both of them, until I got separated with Robb. I tried to find my way to him but somehow the paths were either blocked or heading to other directions. I felt so lost and worried at that time, having only Zuzu at my arms. I then put him down awhile just to look around the area, and when I wanted to pick him up again, he was gone as well.

I was crying, feeling very confused and sad, having no idea of what was happening. Suddenly, my dream took me back to a place which looks a little like my house. After that, I got a call from my housemate, Justin, who is also a good friend of mine. He called to say that he had already moved out and was never coming back. Tears were flowing down my eyes and I could hear him sobbing as well. I think I tried to ask him to stay but he said he had to move. We went silent for quite some time, hearing nothing but the sound of both our sobs. Then, I woke up from that dream, went to ask him if he was really moving out, and he said yes. =.=

Eventually, I woke up again to the sound of my handphone ringing, realizing it was another dream. Feeling blue, I answered the unknown number and a girl which sounded like she was from China started speaking to me real fast. I told her I did not understand Mandarin and hung up as I wasn't at a good mood, having all those depressing dreams. I looked around and was glad that everything is back to normal. Justin was just about to head out as well, leaving only me and Zuzu in the house as Robb was working already.

Am I having all these dreams because I'm feeling lonely? Robb is leaving to Singapore tomorrow with his colleagues and won't be back till Sunday. Justin will be going to study in his friend's house most of this week as he is having his exam, and will be heading to Johor this Sunday. Maybe those were the keys to unlocking such depressing dreams in me. I don't know, but I'm already missing Robb. I've been seeing him every single day for so many years, it's hard to be apart even for few days. But I'm glad I'm not alone, having Zuzu to be with me. We'll be waiting for your return, so, enjoy your trip ok? ^^

Love,

犬と私のじゅうの約束..

Ten Promises to My Dog..
Give me time to understand what you want of me.

Place your trust in me. It’s crucial to my well being.

Be aware that however you treat me I’ll never forget it.

Before you scold me for being lazy, ask yourself if something might be bothering me.

Talk to me sometimes. Even if I don’t understand your words, I do understand your voice when it’s speaking to me.

Remember before you hit me, I have teeth that could hurt you, but that I choose not to bite you.

Take care of me when I get old.

You have your work, your entertainment and your friends, I have only you.

My life is likely to last 10 to 15 years. Any separation from you will be painful for me.

Go with me on difficult journeys. Everything is easy for me if you are there. Remember I love you.

Those were the promises made by Akari to her dog, Socks. What promises will you make to yours? I cried a lot during the entire show as I could imagine how I'd feel in her shoes as I have a dog (Zuzu) as well. Socks was there with her throughout her ups and downs, as Zuzu has been for me throughout the entire year. He's not as obedient as Socks but he has his own charms and cuteness.

I could never imagine losing him ever. Zuzu don't leave us ok?

With love,

Privacy..

Lying on my bed while trying to sleep, I suddenly thought of a reason why I felt that I couldn't write as smoothly as I used to. My blog was once only read by people that I didn't know, or people that weren't related to what I wrote, so I couldn't care less and threw in all my feelings. There wasn't any proper network to link bloggers together as well, since Nuffnang wasn't around during the time I started to blog.

Now that Nuffnang is here, it seems that everyone knows everyone. People start to blog hop more often to read up interesting stories or to promote their own site. Links being exchanged from one person to another, a circle of network connections seemed to be formed. My blog is not left out either, as people tend to drop by once awhile, mostly thanks to my dearest Robb as his blog is quite popular and read by many.

As time passes by, I got to know some of them as well, and as usual links were being exchanged and saved into each others' blog. As most of them know us (me and Robb), it somehow made me feel differently towards my so called online diary. It is no longer as personal as it was. Although I still blog about my personal life, there are still some things that I don't feel comfortable writing into my blog anymore.

As the blog community keeps on growing, it seems that blogs have less and less privacy, unless the owner cuts himself off from any relationship with other bloggers and remain anonymous. Either that, or just put a password to only allow certain people to view it and filter out the rest. But for a person to be blogging, there will surely be a part of him or her that wants someone to read what they wrote, so if it were password protected, it wouldn't do them any good.

People tend to change their style of writing as well, especially when they feel that they don't have enough traffic in their blog. I've seen a few, that changed from writing about their lives, to writing to entertain his/her readers. Did my style of writing changed as well? I wouldn't know. I just feel that it's no longer the same as it was before. Oh well, just feel like ranting as I've nothing to do and I can't sleep. Have to find something else to do now.

Italiannies..

Robb took me to Italiannies last week as a friend of ours was invited over to try out their new dishes. I've always loved the pasta there so I was kinda glad that I get to eat for free too. Who wouldn't like free food anyway. I loved most of the dishes, not all as I'm not a fan of seafood. Robb loved the shrimps though. I'll just let the pictures do the work. :P

Quattro Platter - A combination of deep-fried risotto balls, calamari, stuffed mushrooms and zuchinni fritte, complete with marinara sauce and alfredo dressing for dipping. (Loved the risotto balls)

Californian Shrimp Salad - Seasoned grilled shrimp, mangoes, oranges, tomatoes and cream cheese with baby spinach and romaine lettuce, tossed with orange vinaigrette dressing. (Didn't touch much of this, seafood ><")

Italiannies Lamb Shank - Braised lamb shank with a medley of herbs, red peppers and tomatoes. Served with garlic mashed potatoes and brown sauce. (Very tender! Hot item of the night)

Sicilian Pizza - This inch-thick pizza is stuffed with anchovies, black olives, mozzarella cheese and topped with sauteed onions and Pomodoro sauce. (Didn't really like anchovies)

Clockwise - Salmon & Lemon Aioli, Fussili Pesto and Mushrooms (love this), Chicken Coronation, Chicken & Mushroom.

Clockwise - Fussili Pesto & Mushrooms, Chili Shrimp, Angel Hair Pomodoro, Clams & Beef Bacon.

NY Strawberry Cheesecake - New York-style cheesecake served on a bed of strawberry sauce. (Nice!!)

Italiannies Chocolate & Hazelnut Cake - Rich, moist chocolate cake with hazelnut. (Although I love chocolate cakes, I find it too thick with chocolate)

I didn't take pictures of some of the pasta served as I was already too busy eating them. Hehe. They also served Classic Carbonara, Shrimp Linguine, and Chicken Lasagna which I love a lot. At the end of the day, all of us were too stuffed and didn't manage to finish up some of the food and had to bring it home. Wouldn't be nice to waste such good food, especially if it was served free. Thanks Italiannies~!!

Boo!!

Not being a typical blogger, I had less fun than the rest of the attendees during the Silent Halloween. Nevertheless, I'm glad that it turned out to be a great party as lots of other bloggers, maybe all of them, enjoyed what Robb had done throughout the entire night. People were snapping pictures here and there, exchanging blog links, participating in games, yada yada yada. As for me, I spent my time mostly around Justin and Leo. There were no alcohol, and the music wasn't really my type. The food was just ok as well.

Moving on, we went to watch Madagascar 2 last Tuesday. I can't really remember much on the first Madagascar as it was quite long ago but somehow I felt like it was better than the second part. The penguins were great as usual with all their tricks. After the movie, we went down to catch a cab but those taxi drivers were all money suckers. They wanted RM25 - RM 30 just to go back to Genting Klang which was not very far. We had the money, but didn't want to waste on such people so we sat a bus back to KL and switched to another taxi there. At the end of the day, we just spent RM 13 to reach home.

Justin has been pushing me to go to gym with him lately. The gym is just nearby our house, right above the cyber cafe that I usually visit with Robb. The equipments there are a lot better than the ones in TAR College, but of course not as good as the ones in Fitness First. If I had the money I would prefer to go to Fitness First with Robb. Oh well, at least the one I'm going to now is near. I'm really glad that Justin is pushing me to work out as I'm a very lazy person and my body is not exactly a sight for sore eyes. Hopefully I can see some changes in no time as I don't know how long till my laziness catch up with me.

A friend of mine from Penang would be in KL soon and I'd have the chance to catch up with him on all the things we missed. It would be nice as it has been some time since I've seen any of my high school friends. The last we met was during the last Chinese New Year. It has also been a long time since I have been back to Penang. I must admit that I kinda miss it a little but my life is now in KL with Robb and our son ZuZu. Speaking bout ZuZu, he has been very clingy to me as I have been spending lots of time with him at home. He follows me around the house and even waits for me outside the bathroom when I'm bathing.

He's so cute, I can never get enough of him. Don't you think he's cute? ^_^

I'm Going Silent This Halloween With Nokia XpressMusic..

Robb has been asking me to write this for so many times as he wanted me to attend this event. I'm not exactly a people person, so I've been having second thoughts on going. After lots of persuasion, I finally gave in and decided to attend this Halloween party, that is if I'm selected. :P

One of the reasons why I had second thoughts of going is also due to having no suitable costume. Maybe I should just print out the picture above and stick it on my face. Hehe. Well now I have to think of what to wear. I wonder if anyone would go there just wearing normal clothes instead of spooky costumes.

It was written in Nuffnang's blog that we were asked to bring a headphone to the party. Having searched high and low, I managed to dig up one of my old headphones. It was kinda big and didn't work that well. One of the wires must be loose. Hmm.

Maybe I'll just close my ears with my hands like this and pretend that they were headphones. No one would notice right? I'll just say it's a newly developed, highly sophisticated model from Japan!

Well no matter what I'm wearing, or going with or without a headphone, I'll be silent for now. Let's just enjoy the party and see how things goes, that is if I'm selected. :P Cya~

Sorry..

I'm beginning to get sick of that word. Why is everyone saying that to me? Am I that prone to people doing something wrong towards me thus them saying sorry? Or is it that they are all giving in to me even though I'm at the wrong instead of arguing with me? I don't know. I've been getting lots, and I mean LOTS of it, and it made the word "Sorry" not so meaningful anymore. I hate that word.

Eating Alone..

I met Marcus for the 2nd time yesterday. As I was sick of eating instant noodles for lunch every single day, I sent him a text message and asked him out. Lucky for me he was free and came by to take me out for lunch. We went to the Jusco in Wangsa Maju as it was nearby our place and had our meal in Johnny's Steamboat.

In one of our conversations, we discussed about the issue of eating alone. He was asking me to reduce my instant noodles intake and go out to have my lunch as there were lots of hawker stalls right below the place which I'm staying. What he said was true, as there were lots of choices of food all around the area for me to choose from. But the problem for me was that I don't like to eat alone outside.

Whenever Robb or my housemates are not around and I'm feeling hungry, I would just make myself something to eat at home, which would most probably be instant noodles. I would then sit in front of my computer, chatting away in MSN or in my online game while having my meal. This way, I'm not actually eating by myself as I am accompanied by people through the internet.

During my entire 20 years of living in Penang, I hardly ever eat alone as well. It would either be with my friends or family, and I rather skip a meal if there wasn't anyone around. The only time I would eat alone is when I crave for something very much and didn't bother if there were people accompanying me or not. So far that never happened in KL. Maybe the food here ain't that addictive to me.

Hearing that, Marcus told me that he was quite the opposite from me. He LOVES eating alone, which is something that I would never say. Well, everyone is different. I enjoyed myself though, hanging out with him instead of facing my computer for the entire day. Let's go out more often when you're free. ^^
