First Step..

I'm going to start working tomorrow after "measuring road" for such a long period of time. It's gonna be hard for me to get used to it after being idle for all this time, not to mention that Zuzu is going to be more lonely than usual. Sigh. But still, I need the cash and so I have to take this chance to have my first step into the working life. I just hope that Zuzu will not be angry with me. Maybe I could get him a companion when I have enough to spare. Would need a bigger space though as the house is quite small. Maybe I can move to a nicer place when I earn enough.

The Nuffnang Music Bash 2009 was a successful one as I can see that everyone enjoyed themselves a lot, well except for me. The food served was nicer than the few previous events that I have attended, though it's not like I had much of it last night.

The music was nice, as most of them were taken from my PC I guess. Not much good looking people around except for one, and his name is Gary. Didn't know what his blog URL was though, just saw him from afar.

I had hopes for one particular prize, the AX belt which I chose with Robb when we were shopping for the prizes. But sadly, I didn't have the chance to even participate in it. Was feeling so down last night. Tried out for the sunglasses, but didn't get it as well as no one noticed that the winner had actually stopped for a slight second and continued to prolong his time. Sore loser I am. =)

One thing for sure, I'm very glad that Jason a.k.a. Cookiedonut was there with me. He accompanied me to walk around Pavilion before attending the party and gave me his opinion on the sweater/jacket or whatever it is called that i kinda like and was on sales.

He said it was nice as well and it looked good on me, which made me want to buy it more than before, and I eventually did. There goes my wallet. Hope I have enough to buy my working clothes. By the way, any opinions on this purchase? Original price was RM 109, and after discount it was just RM 33.

He was kinda lost in KL, so I followed his car and directed him to the party. Oh and he bought me a belated birthday present! Thanks Jason! *Hugz* He got me a t-shirt from Esprit, which is not cheap as the clothes there are very expensive. He told me he wanted to get me that belt that I love so much but they didn't have it at One Utama.

I was glad that he didn't get the chance to buy it cause the belt would be much more expensive than the t-shirt. RM 269 for a belt is just too much, especially for someone that you just knew for a short period of time.

There weren't much people when we arrived as Malaysians were known to be late all the time. We registered ourselves and went in to check the place out. I've seen it before as I was there with Robb earlier during the afternoon, so I showed him around. There was a corner where you could record your own MTV, but I think they only have one song but I'm not sure of the title. The other corner was for us to play a game from PS3. We didn't try any of it though.

Quite a number of people recognized me, due to Robb's popularity of course, and I only recognized some of them. Some of them dressed up until it took me some time to recognize them even though I knew them. Jason was with me all the time and he even tried to win the AX belt for me from the competition as I didn't get the chance to participate. He had to dance Beyonce's Single Ladies for one minute in front of everyone. He didn't know how to do it but he tried his best to follow the MTV.

I'm really really touched and happy that a friend that I have just known for a short period of time is doing all these things for me. Even though he didn't win the belt, but as soon as he said he was gonna try for it and went up the stage, I was already feeling very thankful and glad to have found such a friend. I'm glad he had fun dancing though, from what he told me. I would be lying though if I said that I wasn't disappointed that night, cause I was. I really wanted the belt a lot and thought I would have the chance to try winning it as I kinda knew how to dance Single Ladies a little. Even so, having Jason around to accompany me made me felt much better. :)

I still have not bought clothes for my work as I need to be wearing white shirts and black slacks. I only have one of each and I don't think it is sufficient. I don't even have a belt. Sigh. Guess I'll have to buy whatever I can find in Jusco later and dry up my bank even more. Wonder if I'll survive the month with such low cash. Food donations anyone?
